It could also, however, be argued that the genesis of The Pitts began many years ago, through the halls of a youth spent together at punk shows, playing parties, surfing the Cowrie Hole under moonlight and bombing hills late in the early hours of morning on skateboards down tar roads across the steel city coast line. It could be argued that without those years spent together scratching out existence that The Pitts as we know them simply could not exist. This band transcends aspirations, it exists because it brings meaning and richness to our lives, because The Pitts love and adore each other.
